Management Policy
The International Shōrei-kai operates with the purpose of correctly inheriting the techniques and spirit of Okinawan Goju-ryu karate, and spreading it worldwide, carrying on the will of its founder, Master TOGUCHI Seikichi.
We conduct sound and rigorous dojo operations centered around the following four pillars.
1. Authentic Preservation of Traditional Techniques
We preserve and pass down Shōreikan's unique techniques, including Okinawan Goju-ryu karate kata, deconstruction, and ancient martial arts. Through instructor training and grade examinations, we maintain the quality of our skills and accurately transmit them to the next generation.
2. Physical and Mental Training and Character Development
Through karate training, we cultivate robust bodies and indomitable spirits. Rather than uniform instruction, we provide guidance tailored to each member's stage of growth and physical capabilities, aiming to foster rich character development.
3. Prohibition of Harassment
We will not tolerate any form of harassment. We will thoroughly implement safe and secure instruction that respects individual personalities, skill levels, and physical characteristics and values two-way communication.
4. Compliance with Regulations and Proper Management
We will strictly adhere to the Association's regulations and all related rules. By ensuring organizational transparency and establishing an effective governance structure, we will operate our dojo in a manner that earns the trust of society.
