Practice & Seminar
Small steps lead to great achievements!
The International Shōrei-kai holds regular joint seminars in addition to daily training at each dojo.
Through meticulous instruction tailored to each individual's skill level and technical exchange across the entire organization, we continue to explore the profound depths of karate-do.
01. Daily Dojo Practice
To allow practitioners to balance work or studies without strain, most dojos schedule practice days about 2 to 3 times per week.
-
Individualized instruction tailored to your level
For beginners, we meticulously teach fundamental movements from the ground up. For advanced practitioners, we focus on advanced techniques and breakdowns. Instructors and masters provide direct guidance tailored to each individual's proficiency level.
-
Mastering techniques through repetitive practice
There are no shortcuts to mastering techniques. After receiving instruction, each student performs repetitive practice (drills) to ingrain the techniques into their bodies.
02. Regular Training Seminars
We hold regular joint training seminars to improve, research, and promote our techniques.
-
Master Instructors' Mutual Study
Master instructors teaching at various dojos gather together to exchange opinions on each other's techniques. The instructors themselves are constantly learning and striving for higher levels.
-
Active Student Participation
These seminars are not just for black belts. Regular students can also participate. Receiving direct instruction from masters of other dojos allows students to gain new perspectives and insights.
